Join us for our annual dawn chorus/nature walk with Michael and Lucy. Learn to spot birds, identify trees and learn about the flora and fauna of Killiney Hill.
We will hold our National Spring Clean Day on Saturday 18th May, in advance of the Historical Weekend. This is an opportunity for everyone to come out, including children, to help ensure our village is looking its best! Afterwards, tea, cake and treats for children will be served at 11.30am in the Druid’s Chair Pub.

The KVRA Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 26th June 2024 at 7.30pm. Along with the standing agenda items, we will update on the Community Led Village Design Statement work to date.

This walk will be similar to the highly successful guided walk led by Alice as part of the Killiney on the Move event on 26th May. The highlights include THE Druid’s Chair monument (not the pub!), Killiney Village, Cill Iníon Léinín, Martello Tower number 7 and other local monuments.
This walk through Killiney Hill Park visits the iconic Killiney Obelisk erected by John Mapas in June 1742, the Wishing Stone of 1852, Bourchier’s Obelisk c.1796 and a host of other points of interest dotted around Robert Warren’s Estate which extended from Killiney Castle to the coast.
