Summer of Heritage Walk

This walk through Killiney Hill Park visits the iconic Killiney Obelisk erected by John Mapas in June 1742, the Wishing Stone of 1852, Bourchier’s Obelisk c.1796 and a host of other points of interest dotted around Robert Warren’s Estate which extended from Killiney Castle to the coast.

Litter will increase in spring and summer. Your help to litter pick makes a big impact. Jimmy Kelly has blue bags, hi-viz vest and litter picks for anyone who is willing to help for an hour.

Via the Burmah Road we visit the Dalkey quarries and then on to Ardbrugh Labourers Village, the Metals, Torca Road and back to Killiney Park along “The Green Road”.
