December 2023 Inaugural Historical talk: ‘The French are on the Sea’ by Pól Ó Duibhir will look at the Martello Tower defensive emplacements on Killiney Bay which were built to thwart the Napoleonic invasion which never materialised. All welcome. Entrance Fee: We are suggesting a voluntary €2 entrance fee to cover costs.

We were made aware sometime ago that the DLR County Council intend to graze goats on Mullins/Roches Hill. On Thursday, the 25th of January, a meeting will be held in the Druids Chair pub, upstairs lounge, at 7 pm at this meeting the DLR, biodiversity officer, Anne Murray will be joined by the goat herder. ...
