Killiney Sounds Music Series Jazz In The Round & Coohe/Tourish

Join us for the third and final concert in the Killiney Sounds Music Series.

Presenting an interesting programme of Persian classical music fused with Irish traditional music from Shahab Coohe (santoor) and Martin Tourish (accordion). This will be followed by Jazz In The Round Trio led by Tommy Halferty, the irrepressible guitarist is joined by seasoned pros – pianist Greg Felton and bass player Cormac O’Brien for a set that combines new arrangements of old favourites, and original music that navigates the rich harmonic backdrops of composers including Carla Bley, John Abercrombie and Cole Porter.
